1. Mixed Mode C8/SAX SPE Cartridges

The functional group of C8/SAX is composed of octyl and quaternary amine groups bonded in proportion, and has a dual retention effect: the octyl group provides a medium hydrophobic effect, and the quaternary amine group provides a strong anion exchange effect.

For samples that are difficult to elute due to excessive adsorption of C18 and C8 and excessive SAX retention capacity, C8/SAX mixed mode extraction cartridges can be used.
Features of mixed mode C8/SAX extraction cartridges:
Medium retention capacity to solve the problem of difficult elution of individual target compounds.
Suitable for the processing of complex matrix samples such as blood and urine.
Parameter of mixed mode C8/SAX extraction cartridges:
Specific surface area: 510 m2/g.
Average particle size: 40-75 μm.
Average pore size: 70 Å.
Application of mixed mode C8/SAX extraction cartridges:
Detection of metabolites in biological fluids, such as barbiturates and aryl benzoic acids.
Detect abuse, such as THC.

2.Mixed Mode C8/SCX SPE Cartridges

The functional group of C8/SCX is composed of octyl and sulfonic acid groups bonded in proportion, and has a dual retention effect: the octyl group provides a medium hydrophobic effect, and the sulfonic acid group provides a strong cation exchange effect.

For samples that are difficult to elute due to excessive adsorption of C18 and C8 and excessive retention of SCX, a C8/SCX mixed mode extraction column can be used.
