Description of NH2 HPLC Columns

Hawach NH2 stationary phase of HPLC Column is based on ultra pure porous spherical silica gel matrix, by using the HPLC column stationary phase bonding technology, using the contain aminopropyl functional groups of organic silane bonded, can faster than silica gel column balance, is sensitive to the water content of mobile phase without silica gel column. Most of the time, NH2 HPLC columns are used in normal phase LC analysis.

NH2 HPLC columns are classified as normal phase chromatography according to the HPLC column stationary phase matrix you can get:

Features of NH2 HPLC Columns

For applications in aggressive normal phase mode with an aqueous eluent
Can separate Vitamins A and D in the normal-phase mode
Carbohydrates and monosaccharides can be separated in the reversed-phase mode on NH2, but are not suited for the separation of compounds and sugars that contain aldehyde, carbonyl
Able to separate some negatively charged molecules for weak anion exchange mechanism in the low pH buffer solution.

Applications of NH2 HPLC Columns

1. NH2 HPLC columns are widely used in the analysis of low molecular weight sugars such as glucose, fructose, xylose, and lactose.
2. Suitable for most of the positive phase chromatography applications
